First of all, if you are new here, WELCOME!

We are delighted that you have found Mighty Kids, and we know that it can be a little overwhelming looking at all the bits and pieces of information and trying to figure out where to begin.

Why choose Mighty Kids?
What product should I get first?
Can I give my child more than 1 supplement at a time?
What time of day should I give the supplements?

We would love to help!

Mighty Kids founder Rachael was looking for the BEST supplements to give her 4 boys. As part of her own healing journey, she had heard about and used adult liposomal supplements and really felt the impact and power in them for herself. But it appeared that no one in the UK was using this incredible technology for kids supplements- a huge gap in the market since childhood development is one of the most crucial times for proper nutrition! So, in trying to find the very best, Rachael decided to go ahead and create the very best for children.

What makes Mighty Kids Supplements so good?

Liposomal technology encapsulates the nutrients in a completely natural and bio-identical fatty acid, and this protective layer helps deliver the vitamins and minerals right to the cell, rather than typically being destroyed by the digestive system and stomach acids. This means that Mighty Kids liposomal supplements are absorbed around 12x more effectively than a standard supplement!
We also use only the most bioavailable and active forms of all nutrients, so the supplements are not only very gentle, but extremely effective!

What product should I get?

We created a trio of products that are designed to work together as a comprehensive daily support:

Liposomal Magnesium + Liposomal Vitamin C + Liposomal Multivitamin

These 3 products provide a wide range of nutrients to protect against common nutritional deficiencies, and offer some incredible additional benefits:

LIPOSOMAL MAGNESIUM

Sleep support / Hormone regulation / Anxiety reduction / Muscle & nerve function / Neural connections / Focus & concentration / Bone growth / Blood sugar regulation / Support for over 300 functions in the body!

LIPOSOMAL VITAMIN C

Natural anti-histamine / Immune support / Cellular repair / Collagen production / Nerve health / Prevents iron deficiency… and more!

LIPOSOMAL MULTIVITAMIN

Blue light damage protection for eyes / Prevents common mineral & vitamin deficiencies / Zinc may help with selective eating / Cellular energy and metabolism / Brain function… and more!

Why can’t all 3 products be combined into 1?

This is a great question! The reasons are that we wanted to keep the Multivitamin to a reasonable serving size, AND we wanted the single supplements to be stand-alone products, because they are often very beneficial to have in higher dosage during times of stress or illness, or with certain conditions. So this gives parents full control over dosage.

For example, Magnesium is a very alkaline mineral and requires a higher amount of carrier, so the serving size for just this ingredient is larger than the entire group of nutrients in the Multivitamin. Many parents use a higher dose of Magnesium for a child who is extremely sporty as high activity levels can deplete mineral stores, or for addressing deficiencies common in certain diagnosed conditions.

Another example is using high dose Vitamin C during times of illness.* By having this product in a standalone bottle, parents can control dosage and frequency of dose without worrying about going over daily limits on other nutrients.

*See this post for more information on the safety and benefits of high dose Vitamin C.

So my child can have all 3 supplements daily?

Yes, and this is our recommendation for very well rounded support. All 3 supplements are safe in combination and work well together, further enhancing the absorption of certain nutrients and promoting the synergistic relationship of these nutrients as found in nature.

Is the separate Vitamin C necessary every day or only when poorly, since it is already in the Multivitamin?

The amount of Vitamin C in the Multivitamin is enough to boost proper absorption of certain minerals contained in the Multivitamin, such as Vitamin E and Zinc. It is not enough to provide optimal daily support, which is why it is very beneficial to take the Vitamin C product daily as well, at the listed dosage by age (on each bottle and our website).

I see you also have Vitamin D in your range- is the separate Vitamin D necessary every day?

Not usually. The amount in the Multivitamin is sufficient for daily intake for most children.
Additional Vitamin D beyond this amount is really only necessary with a known deficiency, a prescribed higher dose, and/or for certain inflammatory conditions such as eczema, allergies and asthma. Speak with your health care team about higher dose Vitamin D as we cannot advise on any particular situation.

What age are these suitable for?

The daily trio is designed for ages 1-12. The stand-alone products, however, are suitable from 1 year and go all the way up to adult dosage.

If your child is under 4 years old, we do recommend spacing more than 2 supplements at a time at least 1 hour apart.

If it is your first time introducing a supplement, you may wish to start with one at a time. This is to allow for the wide variations in weight of this age group, and for parents to closely monitor reactions and identify potential sensitivities. Unpleasant reactions are very rare, but just like with introducing any new food/medication/supplement, they can happen to anyone with any product!

All ingredients can be found on the website Shop pages. Mighty Kids products are VEGAN and free from GMO’s, sugar, and all common allergens, including gluten.

What time should I give each supplement?

There is no set time to administer any of our supplements, but here are a couple things to consider:

The Multivitamin contains B Vitamins which can be energising to the cells (this does not mean it will make a child hyperactive!) and since it also contains Vitamin D, it can be preferable to give this one in the morning/early afternoon when our bodies would naturally be producing Vitamin D from sunlight.

The Magnesium is often used to support healthy sleep cycles, and relaxation, so most parents choose to give this one about an hour before bedtime. However, some people also report better results with taking Magnesium in the morning, especially if the primary goal is to reduce anxiety or hyperactivity, so this is just personal preference and you will need to play around with timing to see what suits your lifestyle and child best!

However, it is fine to take all 3 together in the morning (though if your child is under 4 years old, we do recommend that if more than two supplements are being taken, then they should be taken at least 1 hour apart). The reason that daily timing is not so important is that all our liposomal supplements are slow-releasing, and levels will build up in the body over time.
